DivX Bitrate Calculator V 1.2

(by SeeKay Useless Binaries)

This little Java Tool calculates the bitrate you should specify in any video encoder to make the video fit exactly the wanted file size. You simply specify the three input fields click "Calculate" and below the bitrate is displayed.

The value is only a good estimation. Depending on the video material you want to encode the resulting filesize can still vary by 10%. Further improvement of the calculation is possible by using the combo box to state which type of result you are about to create. This feature is based on the ideas of a user ("Fox Mulder" <x-file3@gmx.de>).

You can download the jar-Archive here. All you need is a recent JRE (Java Runtime Environment) installed and you can execute the Tool by double clicking on the archive file.

This version is internationalized for German and English.
